Water States

A small platform game about change, made for the My First Game Jam: Summer 2020

You are an ice cube that has the ability to change your physical state whenever you want, but in a limited amount, so use it wisely!

As ice you can damage enemies but you can also be hurt by them!
As steam you can go up to infinity but when you touch a cold surface it will condense and drip
As a liquid you can avoid damage to traps and enemies, but in cold weather it will soon freeze so be smart!

Traps can sometimes change your physical state too, take advantage of it!

Become Water:

Controller: Xbox X - Duashock Square

Become Fire: 
Keyboard: B??? + D??
Controller: S?? + D??

Start/Pause:
Keyboard: P/Enter
Controller: Xbox Start - Duashock Options

Jump: 
Keyboard: Space / Up Arrow
Controller: Xbox A - Duashock Cross

What a genius idea !  You should release this on Mobile (if you haven't already)

Nice Mechanic! I think a tutorial would be great tho. And the game over screen is kinda disturbing lol xD

Tutorial was something that we started to do and then realized we would not have that much time. My goal is to move this game to Unity and then start to expand. Including fixing and exploring much of the mechanics that we thought for this game

Ooh this game is really fun! I love that the goals at the end of the level is a fridge. I wish that I respawned at the beginning of every new level rather than having to start at the first level every time. The movement feels great, and the animations are amazing and charming!

Thank you for playing. This is our fist game to ever be posted anywhere. I did thought of changing that just before we posted the game, maybe this will be changed on the next update. I'm very happy that you enjoyed it  :)
